We have an excellent opportunity for a buyer who wants to step up in their career and take on a new challenge and manage a small team.

Working for a rapidly expanding retail company, your role will be diverse and creative. With a business analyst behind you to help drive the numbers, your role will be able to take a creative leap as you expand and develop the company's direction.

The role will include, but not be limited to;

• Identifying key trends, developing storyboards and sourcing new product

• Driving promotional and marketing responsibilities

• Managing relationships and negotiations with suppliers

• Improving profit and commercial results

• Managing stock levels, aged inventory, pricing, purchasing

• Budgeting and financials, sales and inventory reporting and analysis.

To be successful in this role, you will have;

• Previous retail buying experience, preferably in furniture, homeware or soft furnishings.

• Excellent communication and account management skills

• A sound commercial acumen and be a skilled negotiator

• Be flexible to travel when required

• High attention to detail

• A creative outlook and an eye for trends

• The ability to work well under pressure and able to meet deadlines
