We are looking for a vibrant, positive person to join this wonderful national homeware brand, to manage their high performing Ponsonby store!

Join a happy and relaxed team who love working in their busy, boutique store. This brand does not micro-manage their managers, in face it's quite the opposite- they like to empower their team and get them to treat their stores like their own business! 

In this role, your responsibilities will include; 

  • Leading a team of five talented retailers, including an assistant manager, inspiring them to achieve sales and drive the stores performance

  • Recruit any new team members and then oversee their induction, training and development.

  • Executing visual merchandising directives.

  • Growing the VIP client database! You will get to know the locals and foster relationships with them.

  • Being responsible for all store operations; stocktakes, VM, training, store presentation, rosters & wage control

  • Managing the stores PNL reports

You will bring with you a flair for visual merchandising! This is a small store with a high volume of product. Sometimes, the VM directives won't work and you will have to create a solution for your space!

To be successful in the role, you will have 2-3 years store management experience and will be familiar with the Ponsonby retail market.
