Production Manager – High Fashion!

We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to join this top NZ designer fashion brand on a 1 year fixed term maternity cover. 

The role is primarily in charge of the end-to-end supply chain process; from raw materials right through to delivery into the warehouse, stores and wholesalers.


Key responsibilities in this role include; but not limited to: 

  • To lead and develop the offshore and onshore production team.

  • Managing the distribution of all wholesale, store, and online orders, in accordance with business and supplier requirements.

  • Working with the designer director to establish the seasonal production critical path.

  • Creating costings for onshore production product and negotiating CMT prices and delivery deadline for onshore manufacturing partners

  • Owning the quality control process and maintaining standards are adhere to business requirements.

  • Analyse and review the shipping methods and ensure on-time deliveries into the business.


The successful applicant will have the following: 

  • Ideally have a fashion degree, with 4+ years in a similar production role 

  • Be highly organised, results driven, to always strive for the highest quality standards.  

  • Critical path management experience is essential.

  • Have the ability to problem solve in a creative and timely manner.

  • A strong work ethic, excellent organisational skills, and attention to detail

  • A track record of consistently meeting production deadlines

  • Experience in both local and offshore production is advantageous but not essential
